Your beauty pins me down, so that
I’m writhing on the floor,
Helpless to each and every incision,
Each word sharper than the last!
I want to apologize for the mess I’ve created,
I saw it coming, But couldn’t avoid it,
You both have a right to hate me for this.
And yet, you’re so understanding, and Oh-So-Amazing.
Just one more reason.
With each syllable it’s gaining momentum.
If only you knew,
How much I wish to be him,
But a bit more mature.
This is eating me alive!
Your voice cuts me deep,
And severs the arteries.
Your eyes burn a hole in my heart,
Right where I want you to be.
Your words wrap around my mind,
Conforming my thoughts to you.
Your smile rips out my tongue,
Disabling my beautiful voice.
My heart poured out of my mouth,
Forgive me for that mess,
Nothing resulted but awkward drama.
Insecurities devour me!
This is beyond the help of a thesaurus.
Words seem to have failed me.
